2008 AMERICAN MUSICFEST Join the City of Harrisburg for the regions largest
July 4th celebration! RIVERFRONT PARK & CITY ISLAND, HARRISBURG, PA
July 4 - 6, 2008 • 12 Noon - 10 PM
Three Full Days of Music & Fun!
Riverfront Park will be alive with music, dance, food and activities during the 2008 July 4th weekend. American MusicFest will fill the air with a world of musical performances and light the sky with spectacular fireworks displays – all completely FREE to the public.
Six entertainment stages will run the length of Riverfront Park from Forester to Vine Streets featuring a wide variety of rock & roll, classical, reggae, international, funk, hip hop and country artists. Three food courts will offer menus for every taste and the expanded amusement ride areas will insure thrills for every age.
New this year will be the “Capital City Clash” a battle of the bands on the Patriot News Market Street Stage and a Showcase of emerging talent featuring all genres of rock, including pop, psychedelic, blues, folk and indie artists.
Featured performers will be The Family Stone Project, The Stars of Beatlemania featuring Alan LeBoeuf, and the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra. Reggae artist, “Meshach” from St. Lucia, the Scott White Family, Jackson Southernaires and a host of international, national, regional, and local artists have also been invited to perform.
