Popcorn Hat Players
This 11 session camp will enhance students communication skills while developing self-confidence, imagination and creativity. Campers will learn the basics of acting and theatre from professional actors while having fun learning stage presentation and how to create interesting characters. Camp sessions will meet at the Gamut Theatre on the 3rd floor of Strawberry Square in downtown Harrisburg from 10 AM to 12 Noon Tuesdays and Fridays, with the exception of July 4.
At the conclusion of the camp young performers will present a play at the band shell in Reservoir Park entitled "African Stories" on August 9. The play will be followed by the Outdoor Movie "Pride."
