Each year The City of Harrisburg hosts almost 200 family-oriented events. Whether you're young or a child at heart, there's something for everyone at each event. Starting with the Black History Gala in January to the big New Year's Eve Celebration in downtown Harrisburg, December 31st, the year is filled with a variety of fun-filled events. Our highlight events are American MusicFest over the Fourth of July holiday, Italian Lake Concert Series throughout the summer, Kipona Festival on City Island and Riverfront Park, the fabulous Holiday Parade ushering in the holiday season, and our New Year's Eve Celebration where thousands of people gather to ring in the new year. The City of Harrisburg welcomes everyone to come and enjoy the many festivities Harrisburg has to offer.
